Deerhunter’s Bradford Cox and Cate Le Bon announce new collaborative EP, share “Secretary”: Stream
Deerhunter chief Bradford Cox and Welsh singer-songwriter Cate Le Bon have joined forces on a brand new EP. Dubbed Myths 004, it’s due for arrival November 1st via Mexican Summer time.
The collaborative effort was written and recorded over the course of only one week in Mara, Texas (therefore the EP’s title). Aiding within the classes had been a variety of Le Bon’s previous associates and particular visitors, together with Stella Mozgawa of Warpaint, White Fence member Tim Presley, Candy Baboo’s Stephen Black, and Samur Khouja.

“Marfa is a rare city. It seems like nothing else exists whenever you’re in it which is each comforting and unnerving,” Le Bon commented in a press assertion. “We dedicated ourselves to embracing the chaos, surrendering to all moments and moods that travelled via. It’s a crude vacation scrapbook shared by all concerned, an amalgamation of the adjustments in temper and light-weight that formed the times.”
