Former Greatest Loser Contestant Daniel Wright Useless at 30
The Greatest Loser household has misplaced a beloved member.
Daniel Wright, the contestant who competed on the seventh and eighth seasons of the load loss competitors present, has died, fellow contestants confirmed on social media. Wright was 30 years outdated.
Based on a GoFundMe web page first revealed in December 2017, Wright had been recognized with acute lymphoblastic leukemia two months earlier and underwent chemotherapy and dozens of blood transfusions as a part of his most cancers therapy. In December 2018, the leukemia had relapsed.
“Yesterday the world misplaced a little bit of its gentle,” former castmate Danny Cahill wrote on Fb on Monday.
“Daniel Wright and I met for the primary time in Could of 2009 on the seaside in Malibu. 15 of us went to the seaside that morning to start our journey on season eight of The Greatest Loser,” Cahill recalled. “Our 16th contestant was pushed as much as the beginning place of that first 1-mile race (which he received) and out popped Daniel. ‘Hey guys!!!’ He yelled as he jogged over to us. Little did I do know the impact this man would have on my life.”
“Daniel’s gentle has all the time been one among Grace, encouragement, knowledge, love and honor all through the time I’ve identified him. And I can actually say that due to him I’m a greater man,” Cahill’s touching message continued. “He confirmed me (by instance – not by telling me) the way to look after others another way, and I thank God for having the ability to know this man for the 10 years I’ve identified him.
