Wyoming College students Disciplined After Carrying KKK-Type Robes

Two highschool college students in Wyoming have been disciplined after dressing in outfits resembling the Ku Klux Klan through the college’s spirit week. 

The younger males walked into Riverton Excessive Faculty with smiles on their faces as one waved an American flag. 

Wearing white robes, one of many boys had a pointed hood on and wore a cross round his neck, the Washington Put up stories. 

“I used to be shocked to see one thing this blatant,” Micah Lott, 26, a member of the Northern Arapaho Tribe and a Native American rights activist, informed The Washington Put up.

Riverton, Wyoming is a small city surrounded by the Wind River Indian Reservation, the Washington Put up stories. 

“Racism is a taught conduct,” Lott informed the Washington Put up. “We now have to acknowledge what we’re educating our kids and the way it’s persevering with this cycle in our nation.”

The 2 college students, who haven’t been named, have been disciplined, the college stated on Fb, the Washington Put up stories.

Wyoming’s state superintendent, Jillian Balow, tweeted, “I’m saddened and dissatisfied by the actions of the 2 college students concerned within the incident. This hurts our group, state, and nation.” 

Balow continued, including extra details about the incident, “The info point out that they intentionally and deliberately entered the college in apparel identified to be related to the Ku Klux Klan. Hateful speech, apparel, or conduct is unequivocally unacceptable.

Lott, who went to Riverton for college as a baby, stated this conduct is nothing new, the Washington Put up stories.
